The trade of those who design the plant, and the trade of those who write the software that runs it. Coral JIT40 was born from that meeting, with plant and management system conceived together rather than integrated after the fact.
Cartesia was founded in June 2020, during one of the most difficult moments in recent Italian industrial history, with the aim of bringing to market a single solution in which plant and software were designed together. From 2022, once the general market slowdown had been overcome, the adoption of Coral JIT40 accelerated: by 2025 active installations exceeded thirty industrial laundries, with the first presence abroad. Cartesia operates today with its own development team, helpdesk and sales organisation, and the technical collaboration with Montanari Engineering continues on the plant side.
